# Auto Logout

:::(Warning) (Important)
To maintain security standards, this setting must be requested by an Admin user.
:::

This feature allows Administrators to enhance account security by automatically signing users out based on inactivity or a fixed session timeframe. It ensures that sensitive candidate data remains protected even if a device is left unattended, helping your team maintain high security and compliance standards.

## Auto Logout Options
You can configure the auto logout behavior using one or both of the following methods:
- **Inactivity Timeout**: Automatically logs a user out after a specific period of idleness (e.g., 15, 30, or 60 minutes).
- **Fixed Session**: Enforces a mandatory re-authentication after a total set time, regardless of activity (e.g., 8, 12, or 24 hours).

## How to Enable Auto Logout

- Contact the Manatal support team at [support@manatal.com](http://mailto:support@manatal.com/) with your preferred configuration.
