# BambooHR Integration

## What is the BambooHR Integration

The BambooHR integration allows users to send candidates from Manatal directly to the BambooHR's platform. Learn more about BambooHR on [their website](https://www.bamboohr.com/).

Please find below the list of Manatal fields available to BambooHR through this integration:

- first_name
- middle_name
- last_name
- display_name
- preferred_name
- employment_start_date
- birthday
- email(s)
- phone_number(s)

## Enable the BambooHR Integration

          Important

          

This can only be done by an Admin.

1. Head to the [following page](https://app.manatal.com/administration/integrations).  Alternatively, click on "Administration" from your side menu and open the "Integrations" category.

2. Input your BambooHR API key and subdomain, agree to the provider's Terms & Conditions and click "Integrate".

When creating a BambooHR API key, use a service account and not an administrator account.

1. Sign in to your BambooHR instance.
2. The text just before .bamboohr.com in the URL is your domain.

When creating a BambooHR API key, use a service account and not an administrator account.

1. Sign in to your BambooHR instance with administrator permissions.
2. On the Home page, click Account and select API Keys.
3. Click Add New Key.
4. Enter a name for the API key in the API Key Name field and click Generate Key.
5. Click COPY KEY to copy the key to your clipboard.
6. Click Done.

## Sending Candidates to BambooHR

          Note

          

Candidates can be sent to BambooHR by users with any access role (admin, manager, consultant and recruiter). Learn more about user roles in [this article](https://support.manatal.com/docs/user-management#user-roles-amp-permissions).

4. You will receive a confirmation message at the top right corner of your screen to confirm the candidate has been sent to BambooHR.
