# Bullhorn to Manatal Migration Guide

## How to Export Your Data from Bullhorn

To export your Bullhorn data, refer to this guide.

You will receive 2 emails - the first contains a download link, and the second contains the password to access it. The export is a database backup file containing all of your company's data.

Forward your Bullhorn files or download links to sales@manatal.com to begin your migration.

## What Your Export Will Look Like

Your export arrives as a **password-protected ZIP file** containing a full **SQL database backup** of your Bullhorn account. The password is sent in a second email after the initial download link.

## Data Mapping

### Client Corporation

Bullhorn Client Corporations are migrated into Manatal as Organizations (Clients).

Typical migrated data includes:

## User Mapping

Owners and creators from Bullhorn are matched to the right Manatal user accounts, so the users linked to your records stay correct after migration.

This applies to:

- Organization Creator and Owner
- Candidate Creator and Owner
- Job Creator and Owner
- Contact Creator and Owner
- Match Creator and Owner
- Note Creator and Owner

## Notes Migration

Bullhorn notes appear as activity logs on Client Corporations, Candidates, Contacts, and Job Openings, and as status and billing details on Job Responses. They are migrated into Manatal as notes on the respective records.

Notes may be attached to:

- Organizations (from Client Corporation activity logs)
- Candidates (from activity notes)
- Contacts (from activity notes)
- Jobs (from placement and employment detail notes)
- Matches (from Job Response status, billing, and comment fields)

Typical note fields preserved include:

- Note content
- Note creator
- Note created date

## Attachments and Resumes

Resume and attachment migration is handled after the core migration is completed.

Migrated attachments typically include

- Candidate Resumes
- Candidate Attachments
- Organization Attachments
- Job Attachments
- Contact Attachments
- Match Attachments

## Custom Fields

Custom fields are supported in your migration. In addition to the standard fields mapped above, we can migrate the custom fields your team has set up in your previous system.

Please raise to the migration team for custom fields to be included in the migration.
