# FreshTeam to Manatal Migration Guide

## How to Export Your Data from FreshTeam

To export and use your FreshTeam data, follow this guide.

You will typically receive an email with your data as XML or CSV files.

Forward your FreshTeam files or download links to sales@manatal.com to begin your migration.


## What Your Export Will Look Like

Your export is delivered via email as **XML or CSV files** containing your FreshTeam account data.



## Data Mapping

### Organization

FreshTeam Organizations are migrated into Manatal as Organizations. (Clients/Departments)

Typical migrated data includes:

- Name

### Candidate

FreshTeam Candidates are migrated into Manatal as Candidates.

Typical migrated data includes:

FreshTeam Jobs are migrated into Manatal as Jobs.

### Application

FreshTeam Applications are migrated into Manatal as Matches. A match in Manatal is the relationship between a candidate and a job where they are processed for. 

Typical migrated data includes:

## User Mapping

Owners and creators from FreshTeam are matched to the right Manatal user accounts, so the users linked to your records stay correct after migration. 

User mapping is commonly applied to:

- Candidate Creator and Owner
- Job Creator and Owner



## Notes Migration

FreshTeam email conversation history is migrated as candidate notes. Application stage and rejection data is migrated as match notes.

Notes may be attached to:

- Candidates (from email conversation history)
- Matches (from application stage, status, and rejection reason)

Typical note fields preserved include:

- Note subject
- Note content
- Sender and recipient details where available



## Attachments and Resumes

Resume and attachment migration is handled after the core migration is completed. 

Migrated attachments typically include

- Candidate Resumes


## Custom Fields

Custom fields are supported in your migration. In addition to the standard fields mapped above, we can migrate the custom fields your team has set up in your previous system.

Please raise to the migration team for custom fields to be included in the migration.
