# What is the Candidate Portal

The Candidate Portal is an optional feature enabled by companies within the [career page settings](https://support.manatal.com/docs/advanced-career-page-folder). It provides candidates with a secure login to view their applications and referrals. Companies can also configure this portal for internal use, creating a private space where only employees of the company can view and apply for internal roles.
