# Chat with Candidates via WhatsApp Web

- The communication and messages sent & received via WhatsApp are not recorded in your Manatal account.

## How to Chat with Candidates via WhatsApp Web

1. To chat with a candidate using WhatsApp, find the “Candidate Phone Number” field on the “Summary” tab of that candidate’s profile, and click on the WhatsApp icon.

The WhatsApp icon will only appear if the phone number follows a valid international phone number format:

- [country code][area code][local phone number]

1. You'll be redirected to a new WhatsApp window where you can send WhatsApp messages directly to the candidate using your WhatsApp account.
