Enable the BambooHR Integration

Important

This can only be done by an Admin.

  1. Head to the following page. Alternatively, click on "Administration" from your side menu and open the "Integrations" category.

  1. Click on "Enable" beneath the BambooHR logo.

  2. Input your BambooHR API key and subdomain, agree to the provider's Terms & Conditions and click "Integrate".

When creating a BambooHR API key, use a service account and not an administrator account.

  1. Sign in to your BambooHR instance.
  2. The text just before .bamboohr.com in the URL is your domain.

When creating a BambooHR API key, use a service account and not an administrator account.

  1. Sign in to your BambooHR instance with administrator permissions.
  2. On the Home page, click Account and select API Keys.
  3. Click Add New Key.
  4. Enter a name for the API key in the API Key Name field and click Generate Key.
  5. Click COPY KEY to copy the key to your clipboard.
  6. Click Done.

Sending Candidates to BambooHR

Note

Candidates can be sent to BambooHR by users with any access role (admin, manager, consultant and recruiter). Learn more about user roles in this article.

  1. From any job pipeline, select one or more candidates you wish to send to BambooHR.

  2. Click on "Share" and then on "to HR System" from the dropdown menu.

  3. Select BambooHR as the HR system and then click "Share".

  4. You will receive a confirmation message at the top right corner of your screen to confirm the candidate has been sent to BambooHR.
