Joining Your Interview

  1. Your recruiter will send you a unique interview link. Click "Continue" to proceed. You can access this link at any time.

  2. Provide your full name and email address. Then click "Continue".

  1. Choose a quiet, well-lit space where you can focus without distractions or background noise.

Checking Your Setup

Before you begin, the system will automatically run a setup check. Please verify the following:

  • Your microphone is working and clearly captures your voice.
  • Your headphones or speakers allow you to hear the AI interviewer clearly.
  • Your camera is on and positioned at eye level.
  • The lighting allows your face to be clearly visible.
Note

We recommend testing your equipment before you start the interview to avoid interruptions during your session.

Performing the Interview

  1. When you are ready, start the interview by clicking "Start AI Interview" and saying: "I’m ready."

  2. The AI interviewer will then guide you through a structured, conversational interview for the role.

    • You will answer a series of questions, similar to a traditional job interview.
    • The interview typically lasts around 30 minutes.
    • You can stop at any time by clicking the "End Interview" button.
    • Once you are finished, your responses will be securely sent to the recruiter for review.

Interview Tips

  • Be yourself. Treat the interview as a real conversation with a recruiter.
  • Speak clearly and confidently. The AI will transcribe and analyze your answers.
  • Ask for clarification. If you do not understand a question, say so. The AI can repeat or rephrase it.
  • Maintain professionalism. Dress appropriately and stay focused.
  • Eliminate distractions. Mute your notifications and ensure you have a stable internet connection.

What Happens After the Interview?

After your interview ends:

  • Your video and responses are sent directly to the recruitment team.
  • The recruiter will review and assess your answers.
  • The recruiter may contact you for the next steps after their evaluation is complete.
  • No further action is required from you after finishing the interview.

  1. How is my data handled?
    Your data will be securely stored and used only to evaluate your application. By participating in the interview, you agree to share the interview video and transcript with the hiring company. Manatal is SOC 2 compliant and your participation is subject to our Terms and Conditions.

  2. Which browsers are supported?
    We support standard browsers, including Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.

  3. What happens if I have a technical problem during the interview?
    If you experience a connection, microphone, or camera issue, the interview will pause to allow you to reconnect. If you do not rejoin within 5 minutes, the interview will automatically end.

  4. How long do I have to complete the interview?
    Your interview link does not have a technical expiration date. You can take it at your convenience. However, the hiring organization typically sets a submission deadline. Please refer to your interview invitation for the specific due date.

  5. Can I use a mobile device for the interview?
    Yes, you can complete the interview on a mobile device.
