What are Weekly Account Summary Emails?

The Weekly Account Summary Email is an automated email report sent to admin users every week to highlight your recruitment activities and key metrics from the previous week. It provides a quick snapshot of your overall candidates’ progress (applied, submitted, hired, etc.), jobs completed or active, and top candidate sources, helping you stay informed and drive further engagement.

Note

For new Free Trial accounts, this email will only start sending after the first week to ensure there is sufficient data to display. If you have unsubscribed from emails, you will not receive the weekly summary.

Enabling the Weekly Account Summary Emails

Important

This can only be done by an Admin.

  1. Go to your Settings menu within Manatal and select Notifications.

  2. Under the “Reports” section, look for the toggle labeled Receive a weekly email report every Monday.

  3. Switch the toggle ON to receive the weekly account summary email.

  4. Switch the toggle OFF if you no longer wish to receive it.

Note

When toggled ON, the Weekly Account Summary Email will be sent to your inbox every Monday at 9:00 AM (US timezone). You will stop receiving it from the next scheduled report when toggled OFF.

Understanding the Weekly Summary Email Structure

This can only be done by an Admin.

Each Weekly Account Summary Email contains the following key sections:

  1. Candidate Activity Overview
    The metrics below show the total count of candidates in your account since creation and the total number of candidates who have reached each recruitment stage.

    • Total Candidates: The total number of candidates in your account since its creation
    • Candidates Applied: The total number of candidates who have applied to your jobs since account creation
    • Candidates Submitted: The total number of candidates submitted to hiring managers since account creation
    • Candidates Interviewed: The total number of candidates who have been interviewed for your jobs since account creation
    • Candidates Offered: The total number of candidates who have received job offers for your jobs since account creation
    • Candidates Hired: The total number of candidates who have been successfully hired for your jobs since account creation

    Each metric also includes a smaller green number with an arrow, which represents the increase in that metric over the past week.

Example

If Candidates Applied = 500 and (⬆️25) is shown, this means a total of 500 candidates have applied in the account since its creation, with 25 new applications added in the past week.

If you have no increase in a certain metric in the past week, you may see a prompt to publish jobs or source new candidates instead.

  1. Jobs Activity Overview
    The numbers below show the total count of jobs that have been filled (marked as Won or Completed) since account creation. Additionally, you can see the current number of active job openings in your account.

    • Completed Jobs: The total number of jobs that have been marked as 'Won' or 'Completed' in the account since account creation.
    • Active Jobs: The current number of jobs that remain open and active.

If there aren’t any jobs completed or active, you will be prompted to “Create New Job” instead.

  1. Top Candidate Sources of the Last Week
    • Identifies up to three sources (e.g., Job Boards, Referrals) that generated the most new candidates in the past week.
    • Clicking on a source will direct you to the Candidates page filtered by that source and creation date set to last week, helping you see which channels are performing best.

If no new candidates were sourced last week, you will see a prompt to “Publish your job” in Manatal instead.

FAQ

  1. Which users receive the Weekly Account Summary Email?
    • Only Admin users who have toggled “Receive a weekly email report every Monday” ON in Settings → Notifications.
  2. What time is the email sent?
    • Every Monday at 9:00 AM US timezone (UTC -5). Keep in mind local time differences depending on where you are located.
  3. Does it cost extra to receive the Weekly Account Summary Email?
    • No. This feature is included in all Manatal plans at no additional cost.
  4. Does this replace my other email notifications (e.g., for new candidates)?
    • No. This is a weekly overview of your overall performance and does not affect your daily or real-time email notifications.
